REFLEXOLOGY is an ancient natural healing art based on the principle that there are reflex points in the feet, hands and ears which correspond to every part, gland and organ in the body. Through application of pressure to these reflex points, reflexology relieves tension, improves circulation and promotes the natural balance of related parts of the body. A parasympathetic state of rest and repair is reached through reflexology. Homeostasis (a perfect state of balance) is also a goal.

REIKI - (pronounced Ray-Key) originated in Tibet over 3,000 years ago. It is a non-invasive practice where the individual lies comfortably and fully clothed on a table and is provided with the opportunity to receive Universal Life-giving Energy in order to re-balance the body and spirit as needed. Most experience an internal cleansing, loosening old toxins which are released and flushed from the body. Seeing unresolved issues more clearly and knowing how to handle and release them may be direct benefits Gentle and subtle energy transference through carefully orchestrated touch patterns leads to an expanded sense of peace, relaxation and awareness. Reiki emerges from unconditional love and doing no harm.

Therapeutic Touch - is a non-invasive, holistic approach to healing which stimulates the receiver's own recuperative powers. It is a modern form of laying-on-of-hands and is based on principles of an energy exchange between people. It is most useful to reduce or eliminate pain, promote healing, and elicit a relaxation response.
Therapeutic Touch was developed in the early 1970's by a remarkable woman, Dolores Krieger, Ph.D., R.N., then a Professor of Nursing at New York University, and her mentor, the late Dora Kunz, a well-respected "natural" healer. Together these two women developed a healing form which can be easily taught and easily learned. Dr. Krieger is now a Professor Emerita of Nursing, New York University. Dr. Krieger continues to explore and expand the possibilities of Therapeutic Touch as she actively travels the world to share her knowledge and experiences.
Therapeutic Touch was first conceived as an extension of professional nursing care and was taught by Dr. Krieger in a class aptly called "The Frontiers Of Nursing". These classes marked the first time in history that laying-on-of-hands was taught as a full-time university subject. Health professionals today stand firmly on its 25 years of effective clinical practice and the solid Therapeutic Touch research that has resulted in its wide acceptance.

Myofacial & Craniosacral Adjustment - This includes several techniques, most of which are based on gently inducing and following the release (elongation and rotational unwinding) of Fascia as well as those tissues restricted by Fascia. These techniques assist in achieving the goal of improved structure and function.
The CranioSacral System involves the inner most part of our body - the membranes and connective tissue that house the Brain, Spinal Cord and the Nerve Roots exiting the Spine. Functioning properly, this system refines blood into CerebroSpinal Fluid which bathes and nourishes our Brain and Central Nervous System. When the CranioSacral System is not functioning properly
- there is less fluid to nourish the Brain,
- there are structural imbalances in our Cranium and Sacrum which contributes to structural distortions in other parts of our body,
- there may be pressure build ups in our head due to the restricted flow of fluids.
The goal of this gentle work is to normalize the CranioSacral System so that its rhythm is strong, full and balanced... and also to normalize the articulations within and in between the Cranial Bones. As this is done, the improvements in structure will generally result in the improvement of functions throughout our body.
